We offer you a 4 hours Rib Boat adventure in Ísafjarðardjúp bay with a short stop at Vigur Island. We start with a safety instruction and the distribution of warm overalls and life jackets which you will have to wear on board. It is important to wear warm footwear and mittens, it gets cold once out on the sea. Then it’s time to sail into Ísafjarðardjúp, the stunning fjord region just off Ísafjörður. We are heading to the island Vigur which, during the summer, has a large population of puffins, eider ducks and other seabirds. The islands family will greet you with refreshments and you’ll have the chance to walk around the island and enjoy the beautiful landscape that surrounds the island. After the Vigur visit it’s time to step on the boat again and start the whale watching. The chances of seeing whales in Ísafjarðardjúp are high and our captains know where they like to hang around. Until mid august you might also see puffins and other sea birds.

Experience Ísafjarðardjúp bay in all it’s glory. This 4 hour exciting safari tour offers you magnificent views over the landscape from the sea and visit to the island Vigur. This is an experience that's difficult to forget!

When you’ve stayed on the island for a while, it’s time to step on the boat again and do some whale watching. The chances are high that you’ll get close to whales that really like to show off. You might also see puffins and other sea birds having a swim and of course the beautiful landscape.
